Why it happened, in plain English

The filed reason is potential Salmonella contamination, with no source named. The timing and product type match the milk-powder cascade of April 2026, in which Griffith Foods and PS Seasoning both cited a supplier’s nonfat dry milk recall. Solina’s record does not say that, and we do not claim it; we note only that eight seasoning blends went at once, which is what a shared-ingredient problem looks like.

Dry seasonings have no kill step after blending. Whatever comes in on the ingredients ships out in the jar.

Who else should care

Seasoning and dry-blend manufacturers, and the food-service and retail brands they pack for.

Check: whether you could name, today, every ingredient lot in each of your last month’s blends, and which supplier each came from.
